Okay, so anyone who REALLY knows me, knows how much I love cars. Especially classic cars!

Over the weekend my family and I were eating at one of our favorite places by the beach called the Potato Shack Cafe http://www.potatoshackcafe.com/

when these guys drove by in all their very cool cars. They had their full blown hydraulic systems going and the cars where popping up and down. It caught the attention of everyone sitting outside. My kids loved it!

I think it's amazing how someone can take a car and turn it into a labor of love by putting their own style and flair into it. All the while respecting the originality of the vehicle.

Modern Classics

I spent a week (5/4/2009) in Santa Monica, California at the Toni & Guy Academy in an Advanced Haircutting class. It was unbelievable! I met some amazing hairstylists and spent 8 hours a day training with some of the best in the business. The class ranged from Stylists who have been in the business 2 years on up to 27 years! I have a pretty little diploma on the fridge...... It was an amazing week!
