A day in the life......Wedding day on location

Ready, Set, Wedding day. Here's how most of them start off. Food, drink, music and fun.

I gather in a hotel room with a group of women on a mission to make it to the alter. Most importantly the ONE who will be wearing the white dress. The day is filled with cell phones ringing, grandmas and aunties walking through the door and surprise visits from old friends!

The groom makes a special delivery of a sweet sentiment or a gift of some kind.

Dad may make a visit to doat on his daughter one last time......

Getting the Bridal party ready is my labor of love. At the end of the day what matters the most is that everyone looks amazing!

ME.......at work Part One

Very often friends and clients ask me what it's like to go on location and work with Brides. There is a huge curiosity about what I do and where I go. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to see so many awesome places. I'm often in LA, Newport Beach, Laguna, Santa Monica, not to mention all over the San Diego area. That's just in California....out of state has brought me to some cool places too! No matter where I am....a hotel, mother of the brides home, an apartment, I refer to the chair my client is sitting in as "my chair" That's where the magic happens!!

I don't like showing lots of pic's of myself, but since I don't divulge alot of info I figured this might be a good way to do it. There's more to come, stay tuned................

Rebecca & Thomas

Becca Buckser was introduced to me by my good friend Shelly Ota. I've known Shelly for years, she lives in the bay area where I grew up. I did Shelly's hair and makeup for her wedding many years ago.....her wedding was one of the most opulent, well organized weddings I'd ever attended. When I got the call from Becca I was flattered and excited to work with her. I loved working with Becca. LOVED her mom, who was a hoot and nothing but fun! So off to Newport Beach to get Becca and her bridal party ready for her big day.

Becca and Thomas were married at UC Irvine on May 30, 2009.

What a good looking couple....congrats Becca & Thomas
