Veteran's Day

Thank someone in the Military for your freedom today.

This is my brother-in-law, Dr. Gary V. Mertz.
He was fighting for my freedom before I was even born!!
"Uncle Gary" as we all affectionately refer to; fought
for our country in Vietnam. I'm thankful for him and blessed to have
him in my life. He's intelligent, funny and has a beautiful heart.
My daughter's adore their uncle and are very aware of what a brave and selfless man he truly is.


I'm thankful for this man right here. He is another Brother-in-law
of mine... (because I have 5 awesome one's) he's married to my beautiful sister. Active duty, still standing up for my freedom and yours. Big Daddy is one of the most selfless human beings I will ever know. I say that with absolute conviction and positiveness. I've lost count of his trips to Iraq.

My sister hosted a beautiful home coming gathering for him this past year upon his arrival back into the states.

What's a celebration without cake?
